Creating economic opportunity for creatives of color.

Hire quality creatives for freelance, part-time, full-time, and remote positions that are usually not reserved for them.

There is a common misconception that there is a limited pool of qualified diverse talent; we are here to debunk that myth.

There is a need to help elevate creatives of color through storytelling, exposure, and job placement. We do this by building a large community of established diverse creatives, finding the perfect creative to compliment the business’s need, and providing support to both parties throughout the engagement to ensure successful collaboration.

Areas Of Service

Loupe and grain is a creative staffing agency that connects creatives to individuals and businesses looking to work with diverse creatives.

We serve to promote talented artists that are often not reflected in our current visual landscape. We believe that imagery has a powerful influence and access to diverse perspectives that help shape the world in which we live. Our focus is to provide Black, Indigenous, People of color (Bipoc) creatives with direct access to projects that utilize their diverse perspectives.  We do this by highlighting individual creative profiles and posting available project opportunities.

Hiring Creatives Made Easy

How it works

Our agency is centered around community, diversity, and equity. We exist to help under-resourced creatives by helping them with recruitment, hiring, promotion, pay, and/or retention. We believe that imagery has a powerful influence, and access to diverse perspectives helps shape the world in which we live.

Assess

Creatives and businesses sign up with our agency to get matched. We will ask questions about your experience and open position.

Match

We will post and promote open opportunities for creatives to apply. After applying we will evaluate and review all applications and portfolios to carefully match talented creatives with the open role.
